Multi-tiered Designed Protection
The IPS Next-Generation Helmet System is superior to existing mono-designed helmets. IPS’s protection features are designed to minimize, prevent, and mitigate impact to the head, brain, and neck areas of sports/recreation participants and the fall-prone physically challenged. Impact to these highly vulnerable areas can result in Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and Neck Injuries (NI) that include Concussions, Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), Dementia, Neck Fractures, Spinal Cord Damage, and Paralysis.
Established helmet producers are implementing design changes, but due to limited focus on all the wearers’ vulnerabilities many fall short of optimal protection. Some helmets actually facilitate impact injuries, and are grossly inadequate in mitigating impact to protect against TBI and NI.
IPS’s system design optimizes impact protection for all vulnerable areas simultaneously. Its features are engineered to collaberatively engage each other while providing sustained protection.
TBI/NI Statistics and Solutions
TBI and NI statistics reflect the urgent need for IPS’s next-generation protection. It will elevate safe and confident participation in impact-prone sports/recreation activities, and reduce helplessness associated with physically challenged falls. The statistics reflect sports/recreation injuries for amateur/professional youth and adult participants.
Protection Opportunities
IPS is currently targeted for all age categories in 14 global sports/recreation activities (see below) and the fall-prone physically challenged. Statistically, IPS is designed to protect millions from TBI and NI, which in many cases are tragic, catastrophic, and possibly fatal. The opportunity to adequately protect so many is achievable by IPS.
